A pad-mounted transformer is commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial areas to step down high voltage electricity from the utility's distribution lines to a lower, usable voltage for buildings and homes. Unlike pole-mounted transformers, which are installed on utility poles, pad-mounted transformers are enclosed in a locked, weatherproof metal cabinet and are placed on a concrete slab or "pad" at ground level.
Qinghao pad mounted transformer includes active part of transformer, HV load switches, fuses and other protection devices all immersed in insulating liquid that can reduce the size,which also equipped with a full range of operational monitoring instruments, such as pressure gauge, oil level gauge, oil temperature gauge, etc. and combining with the low voltage switchgear combination as a set of booster equipment.
Our pad mounted transformers feature a tamper resistant construction with no externally accessible bolts, hinges, screws or fasteners, thus providing a safe, self-contained unit which cannot be accessed by unauthorized personnel. Unsightly fences or other forms of protective devices are not necessary. Completely factory assembled, the units are shipped in one piece.

Main Characteristics
1. Full insulation, fully sealed structure to guarantee the personal safety.
2. HV side adopts double fuse protection, in which the plug type fuse is the unika fuse(temperature, current), the backup fuse is the current limit fuse reducing the operating costs.
3. HV incoming line adopts cable connector structure, all insulated, safe and reliable easy to operate.
4. The transformer can be used in Ring Main Unit and terminal system with quite convenient transformation, improving the reliability of power supply.
5. The structures for transformer are three-phase three-limb or three-phase five-limb. The core uses step-lap technologies which lowers the noise and loss, and improves the short circuit withstand ability and overload ability.
6. Use special technology of vacuum drying and vacuum oil filling which used in 35kV transformer and be extended to 10kV transformers. It offers a strong guarantee for quality improvement.
7. The enclosure adopts antiseptic design and special spray painting as per the service condition. The enclosure is equipped with ""three-anti"" functions: anti-condensation, anti-salt fog and anti-mildew, which can meet the anti-corrosive requirement in high temperature and high humidity condition.

4. Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.
