It is designed to safely house and facilitate the measurement of electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power factor, and energy consumption in high voltage electrical systems.

The main voltage and current transformer wires are extended for connection via conductive rods inside the porcelain casing. These transformers are mounted on a pallet, which is then lifted onto the tank lid using support rods, immersed in transformer oil. Additionally, the high-voltage and secondary lead bushings are fitted onto the tank cover, and an oil drain plug with a grounding bolt is secured to the side of the tank.

1. Metering Equipment: They contain specialized meters and transducers capable of accurately measuring high voltage (typically above 1,000 volts) and high current electrical flows.
